| Today we met our kindergarten buddies! We will pair up with them for Book Fairs, research, art projects and more. They shared their eBook with us!  Whooo-hooo! This was a busy first day. We snapped photos of ourselves and wrote our goals for the year. (Doing our homework, having fun, & mastering multiplication showed up on many lists.) Then, we collected data. How did we do this? We walked all around school and picked up rubbish we found on the ground. (Nothing too gross). When we got back to class, we separated it into categories--biodegradable, recyclable or rubbish. You're probably wondering why we did this. Well, we were brainstorming ways to be Community Contributors and this seemed like a great way to help out. But picking up the rubbish doesn't solve the problem. What do you think we should do next?
